FishingGAME  and SPORT FISHING

The waters of Vanuatu have gained a reputation as the premium sport and big game fishing destination in The South Pacific and port Villa has quickly become the mecca of game fishing.

The deep untouched waters surrounding Efate and the other Vanuatu Islands are the ideal playing fields for big game anglers who strive to meet the challenge of catching the monsters of the ocean. Here industrial fishing is almost non existent, game fishing charters are still scarce and 90% of the islands and surrounding waters remain untouched. Abyssal depths can be reached a few kilometres away from the shore of nearly all the islands and the variety and number of fish is simply huge.

FishingAfter a 15 minute cruise from Port Villa Harbour you are in 1000metres of deep blue water where Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi and marlin abound. This combined with the number of lee coasts guarantee relatively calm seas, contributing to make Vanuatu The Ultimate Destination for big game fishing.

In order to protect the fragile marine ecosystem, whenever feasible we try and adopt a tag and release technique for all protected species such as billfish.

The warm currents that bathe the shores of Vanuatu mean that blue marlin can be caught year round and a number of ‘big blues’ have weighed in at over the magical 1000lb mark.

There is simply great fishing for everyone, expert to novice, year round.
